Just £27,000 needed to save Llwyn Celyn.

Llwyn Celyn is a Grade 1 listed building of the late 15th century, now in peril. It is regarded by Cadw as one of the finest medieval houses in Wales, and was once part of the Llanthony Priory estate in the Black Mountains region of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Hot on the heels of great news in July 2015, of a £2.5million Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) grant, two more pledges of major support have been made to our appeal. The Country Houses Foundation awarded a grant of £100,000, and an anonymous Guardian of Llwyn Celyn has pledged £187k. A fresh appeal is being launched to find the remaining £27,000 and it is hoped that work can begin early next year.  For more information go to the Llwyn Celyn Landmark Trust website
