A vacancy has arisen for a ‘Heritage Construction in Wales’ Project Officer to manage, deliver and develop the ‘Heritage Construction in Wales: strengthening the sector through training and support’ Project.

This will involve developing a strong marketing and engagement strategy; organising training, CPD and placements; co-ordinating and monitoring trainers and assessor; managing the budget and producing accurate financial reports. Quickly developing strong networks and working relationships within the sector will be crucial.

Post is funded by Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and Cadw. The project partners; Carmarthenshire County Council, Tree and Sons Ltd., Just Lime Limited, Andrew Scott Ltd., and the Welsh Traditional Buildings Forum created a consortium in order to develop this project and to secure funding for its delivery.
This is a self-employed position. Office space will be available for the post holder at the Tywi Centre, Llandeilo. The project events and activities cover the whole of Wales
