Directory Information

This Directory is designed to help you find individuals or companies, that understand the importance of using traditional building materials and methods on pre-1919 buildings, and have the skills to maintain and repair them.  We also have a section for architects and surveyors who understand old buildings.

The Directory has been broken into categories so you can easily find a contactor by location and by their area of expertise.
We realise that there may be gaps and inaccuracies in the directory, and we will be happy to add suitable individuals or companies working in the traditional building skills sector in Wales. Entry into the directory is FREE to all individuals and companies who:

• Understand the importance of using traditional building materials and methods on pre-1919 buildings in Wales.
• Have the skills and ability to maintain and repair pre-1919 buildings.
• Believe in the principle of ‘repair’ over ‘restore’, with reference to historic buildings.
